Skilled riders and magazine reviewers know you don’t need a rear shock to get rad on the toughest trails. You just need a Whyte 900 series hardtail. Already hailed as the greatest Trail Hardtail ever, we’ve amped up the ability right through the range with our latest generation short offset geometry, so you can charge climbs, dominate descents and rip out of corners better than ever with the pure lines of our original dedicated SCR hardtail frame.

“Whyte claims that this is the best 905 it’s ever built, and we agree. It’s also the best hardtail we’ve ridden, period, and easily deserving of a perfect 10 rating” 10/10 mbr

“The Whyte 905 redefines the limits of production hardtail performance” MBUK

Because a kick-ass hardtail doesn’t have to kick your ass we’ve also teamed our snake hipped, shock eating, Boost width rear stays with high volume, tubeless 2.8in WTB tyres on super wide rims, adding a welcome dose of pneumatic suspension whilst increasing traction and reducing fatigue.

Custom micro reach, wide bar cockpits give precision power steering authority through colour coded RockShox or Fox forks and all models come preloaded with stealth dropper posts and sweet shifting BBX control routing.

In other words, everything you need for High Definition trail domination without the extra weight, faff or winter worries of full suspension.

Last year RockShox and Fox increased their tyre clearance to allow up to 2.8” tyres into a standard length 27.5” fork, whilst maintaining the ideal fork length for our progressive geometry. This gave us the best of both worlds - exceptional grip and comfort with amazing control and performance.

For the latest 900 series bikes we can introduce the final part of the geometry puzzle with 37mm offset forks. This is the same “short offset” philosophy we applied to the highly-successful S-150.

Whyte’s latest OTO (Optimised Trail Offset) geometry system uses a new generation of reduced offset forks. It increases the Trail for improved steering stability and moves the mass of the fork and wheel closer to the steering axis for a more neutral steering feel.

901 has major updates – it’s upgraded to 2.8” tyres it now mirrors the 905’s award winning performance. It also gains a Whyte drop.it seat post, featuring a reliable sealed cartridge design and TRP’s excellent new Slate 4-pot brakes, with technology developed on the World Cup DH series with Arron Gwinn.

905 is upgraded to Eagle NX and gains SRAM’s excellent new Trail T 4-pot brakes. Another major improvement is the 37mm offset fork with the new Charger Damper Revelation fork.

909 incorporates our new “OTO” geometry system and features the new Fox Float 34 Performance 37mm Offset fork, to further enhance the already phenomenal performance. Other improvements include an SDG Tellis dropper post, which uses a sealed cartridge design with an ergonomic lever and a cable attachment at the lever end, for simple maintenance.
